Responsible for the Faculty's curriculum process and overseeing and appointing Directors for Science education programs including Science Gateway Programs, Integrated Science and Coordinated Science Programs; oversees the Science Centre for Learning and Teaching (Skylight).

Responsible for the design and delivery of programs and services intended to facilitate a culture of learning, leadership, involvement, and service for undergraduate students in the Faculty of Science.

Provides support on internal operations and processes including donations, grants and new endowments. Works with central Development office on establishing and implementing best practices and workflows.

Responsible for issues related to research and graduate student matters, including faculty and graduate student awards, Canada Research Chairs, Canadian Foundation for Innovation, conflict of interest, intellectual property, and ethics review.

Manages the administrative team and daily operations of the Faculty of Science Development team, leads endowment and award creation and provides strategy to the fundraising staff.

Responsible for a broad range of issues related to equity, diversity, and inclusion, including leading faculty diversity initiatives related to women, racialized minorities, LGBTQ+ people, Indigenous people and people with disability.

Responsible for the Dean's office budget planning and management, financial reporting and financial administration of Dean's office accounts. Reviews Dept documents for Faculty Salary increase process and tracks faculty commitments to departments

Responsible for academic advising services, including academic advising, evaluations for promotion and progression and student programming in order to support the academic success, personal development and retention of undergraduate Science students.

Provide high level financial and budgetary analysis and reporting to a portfolio of departments and units in Science, in support of strong budget management. Provides strategic financial information and support to the Department Administrators.

Manages the non-academic components of the First Year Focus (FYF) program, such as programming to support students' wellbeing and belonging, community building, and research and career opportunities.
