Provides comprehensive strategic financial and operational management for the Faculty. Leads innovative initiatives to move strategic plans forward and provides authoritative advice on financial issues.

Provide high level financial and budgetary analysis and reporting to a portfolio of departments and units in Science, in support of strong budget management. Provides strategic financial information and support to the Department Administrators.

Responsible for the Dean's office budget planning and management, financial reporting and financial administration of Dean's office accounts. Reviews Dept documents for Faculty Salary increase process and tracks faculty commitments to departments

Leads fundraising efforts for the Department of Physics and Astronomy and the Institute for the Oceans and Fisheries (IOF).

Leads the Science development and alumni engagement team in the engagement of our alumni and community donors to invest in research, students and projects in the Faculty of Science.

Responsible for the development and implementation of the Faculty of Science’s donor communications programs.

Leads fundraising efforts for the Department of Mathematics, Department of Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences (EOAS) and the Mineral Deposit Research Unit (MDRU).

Leads fundraising efforts for the UBC Botanical Garden and the Beaty Biodiversity Museum as well as the departments of Botany and Zoology.

Leads the alumni portfolio. Creates programming and executes on engagement strategy to enhance alumni connections within and to the Faculty of Science.

Leads fundraising efforts for the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, Michael Smith Laboratories (MSL) and life science related projects.

Leads fundraising efforts for the departments of Computer Science and Chemistry.

Provides support to the fundraising team; executes donor reports, provides event logistics and supports the donor stewardship program. Works with central Development office on campus-wide fundraising initiatives.

Provides support on internal operations and processes including donations, grants and new endowments. Works with central Development office on establishing and implementing best practices and workflows.

Manages the administrative team and daily operations of the Faculty of Science Development team, leads endowment and award creation and provides strategy to the fundraising staff.
