Share the research you've been involved with! UBC Science wants to showcase the diversity of research happening across our Faculty, as well as the people who are doing it.

We are looking for research that ranges from course-based group projects to directed studies research, volunteering or working in a lab, or even published research articles. Research experiences can include involvement on- or off-campus and are not limited to UBC Science labs.

Submissions are currently closed. Check back for future opportunities.

Selected submissions will be displayed on screens in Science buildings and featured on the UBC Faculty of Science website! You can check out last year's selected projects! 

Eligibility and submission details

  • You must be a current Science undergrad student
  • The research you share must have happened in the time that you’ve been a student at UBC Science (e.g., not during high school)
  • You must use the provided PowerPoint template to share your involvement in research and upload as a PDF saved as: “FullName_ResearchSpotlight2026.pdf”
