UBC is gearing up for Celebrate Research Week! This year’s event runs from March 5th to 13th, and features a variety of hosted discussion forums, lectures, seminars, open houses and symposia on relevant issues related to the research of UBC units and its partner institutions.
Events are open to the public, students, faculty, staff and school groups. This year’s events range from forums on Sport and Society to discussions on the pressing issues surrounding climate change. We’ve outlined some of the UBC Science connections in this year's offerings, as well as some other noteworthy events.
