UBC Science plays host to more than 300 high school students from across the Lower Mainland this weekend at the annual Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair. Entries will explore biotechnology, environmental science, computers, and the health and life sciences, and students will compete for fun, trophies, scholarships, and the opportunity to advance to the nationals.
Lab tours arranged by UBC Science will allow students to get a taste of real-world research, and the Faculty will present entrance awards to the best projects by senior students. The public and media are invited to the Fair: Saturday, April 12, from 9 am to 12 noon, in the Student Union Building.
