Compassionate, Dedicated, Thoughtful

Where is your favourite place to study and why?

My favourite place to study is Woodward Library! I like the different study spots provided on the different floors, as well as the quiet of the basement.

What is one activity you do to maintain personal wellness?

I enjoy going on hikes, or even walks around the neighborhood. It allows me to clear my mind while also getting outside and getting some exercise!

What is your best study strategy/technique?

I use active recall to solidify concepts throughout the semester, as well as before exams. I usually do this through answering learning objectives, making flashcards, and drawing out mind maps on a whiteboard. Doing this multiple times throughout the semester, and thoroughly checking my answers has been a very useful study strategy for many of my courses. 

If you could travel back in time to your first year at UBC, what is one thing you would do differently?

I would have joined more clubs and gone to more events with my friends.
