I really enjoy the Asian Library. Although it’s a bit far from Main Mall, the flowers, architecture, and cultural elements more than make up for the long walk.
I try to ski every weekend when the season starts. My favourite run at Whistler is the Glacier Bowl, and at Grouse Mountain it’s the Purgatory!
Using active recall to create summary notes really helps my learning. I like to compile everything I know, then compare it with the lecture material to identify knowledge gaps.
I was initially intimidated by my professors and rarely attended their office hours. If I could go back in time, I would push myself to attend more often, knowing now how valuable those conversations are not only for understanding course content but also for fostering mentorship.
