Goofy, Outgoing, Empathetic
If I'm looking for a quiet place with minimal distractions, I like studying at Woodward Library because I find it to be one of the places which tends to be quieter and less busy! Otherwise, if you don't mind distractions, I find that studying in student lounges is a great way to both spend some time learning as well as connecting with other students!
Hanging out and doing fun things with my friends!
After a lecture, I find it helpful to write down some lingering questions and taking the time to ponder them, and then explaining my thoughts to someone else (i.e. a peer, TA, professor, etc.). This helps me actively engage in my learning.
I would take more initiative in exploring clubs, societies and extracurricular activities. I don't think I realized back then how easy it is to feel isolated in such a vast environment and how having a strong peer network can really help with that.
