I enjoy staying active, especially during the stressful school term. Whether it's going for a run or spending time at the gym, physical activity helps me manage stress and maintain a healthy balance.
When studying, I often catch myself slipping into autopilot mode, passively reviewing information without truly retaining it. To counteract this, I found a great strategy is using active recall by putting away my notes and writing down everything I can remember about a topic. This helps me identify gaps in my understanding and reinforces my learning much more effectively!
If I could travel back to my first year, I would tell myself not to be afraid of new experiences. Whether it was joining a club, attending an event, or meeting new people, taking those first steps led to some of the most rewarding parts of my university experience.
