Thoughtful, Friendly, Adventurous
I love studying in the Koerner Library basement! The cubicle desks and the silence are just what I need to be able to lock in.
Whenever I can, I enjoy going on walks or runs outside. The exercise and fresh air really help me de-stress and take my mind off school/studying for a while. It’s even better when I’m joined by friends!
I’m naturally a pretty forgetful person, so I find that using a planner and making daily/weekly to-do lists really helps me ensure that I’m keeping up with all my assignments, projects, and exams. Being able to see my tasks at a glance allows me to focus without worrying about missing anything!
I would try to be more involved by attending campus events and joining clubs! There are so many opportunities to connect with people and explore interests, and I wish I took advantage of that in my first year.
