Emily

Independent, Ambitious, Sociable
If I'm by myself, I prefer staying in my own room to study, since it's private and quiet. When studying with a group, I liked the house lounge in my first year residence building, since it was relatively private and good for group work/discussion.
I love going on walks, whether it be by myself or with friends. It's a great and simple way to stay active!
A strategy I picked up in first year for some of my courses was that I would record audio clips teaching the course content to myself. Then, I would listen to those audio clips to review later on when I was walking between classes or commuting. It really helped me to review my understanding when recording, and gave me a review resource once I had the clips completed.
I think I would definitely be more intentional about branching out, especially with clubs and school activities. It's really easy to get caught up in the workload of academics, and forget to pursue your interests and other activities. That's something I'm still working on now!
