Key Position Details
- Members of the Science Peer Academic Coaches are Science students with their own diverse lived experiences. This experience, paired with training for the role, enables you to support your peers in areas including time management, goal setting, motivation, and study strategies for different science subjects.
- The time commitment is 5 – 7 hours per week, which may include team meetings, coaching conversations, and events.
- This is a volunteer position.
- The Science Peer Academic Coaches are a senior student leadership team, which is an official leadership program in the Faculty of Science and is supported by a staff advisor.
