Where is your favourite place to study and why?
My favourite place has to be my room. I get distracted very quickly when there are people around me. Plus, it's incredibly comfortable and convenient. I have everything I need: chargers, devices, books and food within arm's reach. It's the perfect spot for me to get my work done.
What is one activity you do to maintain personal wellness?
Taking walks is my go-to activity to unwind and destress from my university workload. The UBC campus is truly stunning, and I make sure to take a moment to appreciate the stunning scenery. It provides a much-needed break from the busy and hectic academic life.
What is your best study strategy/technique?
When I study, I prioritize practicing the topics by completing lecture questions, iclickers, practice questions, and any other resources I can find. This approach allows me to gain a deeper understanding of the concepts and uncover insights that I may have missed by solely reading the material.
If you could travel back in time to your first year at UBC, what is one thing you would do differently?
I would want to go out and explore Vancouver more and get more involved in campus clubs and events.
