I love studying at the Peter Allard Law library. The natural lighting is motivating and the chairs are really nice!
What Is One Activity You Do To Maintain Personal Wellness?
I maintain personal wellness by always trying out new hobbies. I recently started running, tennis, and soccer which have helped me stay active and destress. Trying new interests is my favourite way to maintain a balanced life where each challenge is a break from another.
What Is Your Best Study Strategy/Technique?
My favourite study strategies are spaced repetition and mind mapping. Spaced repetition is effective for when I have a lot of subjects to study for at once; I can switch up what I'm learning while also practicing recall. Mind-mapping has worked well for me in classes that require a lot of memorization.
If You Could Travel Back In Time To Your First Year At UBC, What Is One Thing You Would Do Differently?
I would study in groups more and reach out to more people I meet.
