Imagine UBC Orientation Leaders

Imagine UBC is the university’s biggest back-to-school event, welcoming many new students into the Faculty. It's full of exciting opportunities to meet others and learn about UBC Science. New students will get to know the campus, find out more about the Faculty of Science, meet a professor, connect with a group of students from our faculty, and more.

Key Position Details

Orientation Leaders guide a small group of new students through their Imagine UBC experience and help build an engaged community of new-to-UBC students:

  • Facilitate delivery of Imagine UBC
  • Support timely wayfinding in the first week of classes
  • Role model outstanding student leadership on campus
  • Contribute to an environment at UBC that is dedicated to excellence, equity, and mutual respect
  • Maintain regular contact with the new-to-UBC students in your group, your Imagine Senior Orientation Leader, and the Science Imagine UBC Orientations team

Science students in good academic standing and who are enrolled as an undergrad in the Faculty of Science are welcome to apply.
