A postdoctoral fellow with the UBC Department of Microbiology and Immunology co-hosts Project X, CBC's new science show, set to debut this week. Jennifer Gardy—a microbiologist working to increase our understanding of the human innate immune system—graduated from SFU with a PhD in molecular biology and biochemistry before coming to UBC.
The Vancouver Sun calls Project X 'slick, fun and fast-paced.' UBC’s REW Hancock Laboratory will be featured in the show’s first episode.
