Tips and Advice from Nancy Manhas
Which SCI Team event are you looking forward to the most and why?
I am looking forward to Get Into Volunteering! One because I am on the committee, and this is the first event that I will get to see an event start from scratch to finish! Second, I am really looking forward to meeting all these super cool organizations, especially since they give back to our community in such great ways!
What do you passionately love to do during your spare time?
I love to watch, and play sports - especially hockey, football and soccer! I also really love being outdoors (hiking, paddle boarding, snowboarding, running), but don't mind reading a good book once in awhile. Also playing with DOGS!
If you could only give one piece of advice to any undergraduate student, what would it be?
Don't be afraid to try things outside of the box! If that means trying a new study technique, or going to a party, or even living on your own - JUST DO IT. It will make your university experience more memorable.
You're an addition to the crayon box. What color would you be?
Blue-green, because it's my favourite colour.
