Tips and Advice from Kanchi Dave
Which SCI Team event are you looking forward to the most and why?
Get Into Research! The event is really special to me because this is my first year doing research as an undergrad and I absolutely fell in love with it. There is so much to learn out there and yes its true, there are profs who are actively looking to hire volunteers. This event brings those profs and students interested in research together.
What do you passionately love to do during your spare time?
I wish I could say it say it was something cool like skiing and hiking. But honestly it's just relaxing in my room, sleeping, reading a book, watching a movie, or cooking. I take solace in doing nothing.
If you could only give one piece of advice to any undergraduate student, what would it be?
Experiment. You are free to do whatever you want in these four [five] years. So try anything and everything. And maybe you'll find something you want to do for the rest of your life.
You're an addition to the crayon box. What color would you be?
Kanchi colour. Because its important to be yourself (Sorry).
