Tips and Advice from Connie Ng
Which SCI Team event are you looking forward to the most and why?
Beyond the BSc! I'm not nearing graduation but I'd love to know what career options I have. Beyond the BSc provides students with insight on what careers are open whether it be related or non-related to their degree. The event gives us the opportunity to explore what possibilities lie ahead and hearing from the experience of alumni makes it all that more personal.
What do you passionately love to do during your spare time?
I am an avid sleeper and food enthusiast. I either have food in my hand or am laying in bed with a blanket.
If you could only give one piece of advice to any undergraduate student, what would it be?
Leave time for yourself. Maintain balance and take care of yourself. Exams and quizzes are important but so is your health. Pulling all-nighters does not equate to a better mark and it weighs you down on the exam since you're not fully present and awake. If you organize and plan your time well you'll do fine.
You're an addition to the crayon box. What color would you be?
Grey, because everything I own is a shade of that colour.
