Tips and Advice from Amir Shafiee

Which SCI Team event are you looking forward to the most and why?
The Science Case Competition! It'll be a great way for science students to immerse themselves in science outside of the classroom setting, giving them the opportunity to pursue science in a more passionate and curiousity-driven manner. I'm looking forward to it!
What do you passionately love to do during your spare time?
Sleep is my #1 priority; it's what I try to do with most of my spare time. When I'm not sleeping, I'm thinking about sleeping. When I'm not thinking about sleeping, I'm most likely tiring myself out by playing soccer—this makes the sleep much more satisfying.
If you could only give one piece of advice to any undergraduate student, what would it be?
Don't take things too seriously; you'll tire yourself out. The UBC life is good, and it's at its best when you sit back, relax, and enjoy the view.
You're an addition to the crayon box. What color would you be?
Ocean Mirage... I can totally see this coming soon to a crayon box near you.
