About The Event
Feeling tired and stressed? Want to learn more ways to manage your mental health and well-being? Attend this event to learn about some valuable resources and strategies to help you stay healthy and successful in Science.
Complimentary dinner will be provided.
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Heather Robertson, the Associate Medical Director of Psychiatry at UBC Hospital, will share some tips on how to manage stress, anxiety, and depression. She will also provide students with some strategies to support others that may be struggling with their mental health.
Workshop 1: Hillary Stevens, the Health Promotion Specialist at UBC, will lead an interactive workshop in which you will learn about the importance of healthy eating! Walk away from this event with your own mason jar of ingredients to make overnight oats.
Workshop 2: Dr. Andrea Grabovac, a Psychiatrist and Clinical Assistant Professor in Psychiatry, will lead a workshop about mindfulness and its role in mental well-being.
