Any UBC Vancouver BSc student who was in first year in the previous winter session, and who is eligible for second year in the BSc degree program in the upcoming winter session, is eligible to apply.
Students must have completed the prerequisite courses and specialization requirements in order to apply. All eligible students must take part in this application process.
Transfer Students
Any transfer student admitted to second year of the BSc program for the upcoming winter session will apply for a specialization through this same process. All transfer students should consult the UBC Science guide for transfer students. The process for anyone wishing to be considered for third year in a specialization is available on that page.
