UBC Science Visual Identity

The UBC visual identity is governed by University Policy, and outlined in guidelines maintained by UBC Public Affairs. In addition, UBC Science provides the following guidelines that govern the look and feel of communications pieces related to the Faculty.

UBC Science Wordmark

Targeted usage: Communications pieces that don't incorporate other elements of the UBC brand, such as the publication bar or UBC web site common look and feel.

Targeted usage: Letterhead and/or formal email communications.

Colour Schemes

The Faculty’s colours combine UBC's dark blue with a lighter blue based on UBC Science regalia colours. To ensure accuracy, the colour must be matched against Pantone values, process colour (CMYK) values, or Hex values for on-screen media (noted below). While both blues should be displayed prominently, how they are incorporated is at the discretion of the designer.

Targeted usage: UBC publication bar, website CLF visual identity bar, headlines, smaller accents and bars.
