Go Global: International Learning Programs

Imagine studying marine biology along the Great Barrier Reef, learning about international development at an AIDS hospice in Swaziland, working with a cutting-edge tech firm in Singapore, or taking part in bio-medical research in Sweden.

Go Global allows UBC students to attend one of over 150 partner universities for up to two consecutive terms while remaining registered at UBC. Visit the GG site to learn more about partner universities, how to apply, and how the program works. Students continue paying tuition and student fees to UBC and remain eligible for UBC awards, scholarships and financial aid.

Applying to Go Global?

Be sure to consult a program advisor to discuss your study plans. An advisor may be able to alert you to important program requirements and deadlines that you will still need to meet while on an exchange.

Wondering Where to Study?

Go Global has partner universities in over 35 countries, but some of our partners specialize in science programs. To view a list of countries where our partner schools offer excellent science coursework, visit:

Just Back from Go Global?

Submit your course request forms on-line through the Transfer Credit Portal as soon as you return. The university will assign credit for courses that have been successfully completed at the partner university, but it takes time. UBC cannot begin to do this until your entire package is submitted. Note: Students should obtain pre-approval for courses that they plan to take while on exchange.
